I earned my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Southern University. I attended under a full golf scholarship. I chose to utilize my degree and pursued a career in law enforcement. I later began my pro golf career, however a back injury from a car accident prevented me from competing  and ended my career.

In the summer of 2019, I decided to make a career change. I left law enforcement to become an educator and earned my MAT from Northwestern State University in Summer 2020! I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Educational Leadership.

My first year as a teacher I taught face to face during a global pandemic, experienced two catastrophic hurricanes, an ice storm, and my family lost everything  in a house fire. I figure if I can survive all of this within my first year of teaching then I can handle anything.
