OKMS Teacher of the Year

Lately I haven't been myself. Despite that I come to work an hour sometimes an hour and a half early to prepare for my day with my devotional time. Before I walk on to my school campus all of personal issues are left behind. When I step foot on the OKMS campus God grants me so much joy and peace. I get to wake up everyday knowing I am not only doing what I love but I am actually walking in my purpose that God has set forth for me to do. To know that my peers thought enough of me to vote me as their Teacher of the Year. This is an honor that I do not take lightly.  It was announced on Professional Development day. Ya'll I was beyond shocked and in full tears. My heart is so full. Thank you to everyone who felt that I would be a great representation of what we are about at OKMS!!!! This one is for my students thank you for pushing me to be the very best version of me that I can be.  To my peers and admin, wow, I'm so honored and grateful to work with a group of educators like yourselves.
